Want a day off work?

So you want a day off. Let's take a look at what you are asking for. There are 365 days per year available for work. There are 52 weeks per year in which you already have 2 days off per week, leaving 261 days available for work. Since you spend 16 hours each day away from work, you have used up 170 days, leaving only 91 days available. You spend 30 minutes each day on coffee break which counts for 23 days each year, leaving only 68 days available. With a 1 hour lunch each day, you used up another 46 days, leaving only 22 days available for work. You normally spend 2 days per year on sick leave. This leaves you only 20 days per year available for work. We are off 5 holidays per year, so your available working time is down to 15 days. We generously give 14 days vacation per year which leaves only 1 day available for work and I'll be darned if you are going to take that day off!

I thought this was cute.  See other cool stuff here.

Oldie but Goodie 'Whack your Boss' game here.

Why Alabama? Funniest SH!T I've seen in a while..................

Though this is a serious issue.  The story being told by the victims brother stole the show.  I hope the cops find the intruder before they do!

Kelis my friend....

I like you, I really do. But, in this recent interview Kelis states

"It’s funny, and I don’t know whether that’s arrogance, but I don’t feel like there is any competition, It depends on how you approach music making. For me to say that there was competition, well I would have to have approached making an album in a very different way because no-one can compete with my own life. No-one can compete with the experiences that made me write what I write."

IMO: Its arrogance, and an excuse. You are writing to be different and to sell music, but you see your not selling so here is your justification.

She continues,

"I don’t write music to please anybody. I don’t write music to get on the charts. It’s nice when that happens, that’s a great defining moment, but either way I’d have written the same thing. No-one can compete with the birth of my child, no-one can compete with my reverence for God. There’s absolutely not a single person in the world that can challenge that for me."

IMO: Nope, no one can compete with her life experiences, but selling out arenas, albums, and an overall fan base then yes Kelis you are competing and losing. I liked heer music best when she first came out and of course 'Milkshake'. I had to appreciate this song due to my own set of milkshakes.
